Tallwood club was founded in 1970 by Mike Ovian as a 9- hole golf course and later exapanding to an 18- Hole golf course in 1974. In 1995, the McDermott family purchased Tallwood and upgraded many aspects of the golf course to make it suitable for tournament play. Many amateur and state tournaments have been held at Tallwood over the years.
in 2021, Concord Golf Properties purchased Tallwood. The interior of the clubhouse has been completely renovated as well as many improvements to the golf course. The staff at Tallwood look forward to seeing you soon!
Tallwood has won many awards and accolades but its proudest award is the Walter Lowell Public Course Distinguished Service award. This award shows the dedication to the game and the success over the years.
